Check availability →Good to know: Entry to the Storehouse is by timed slot, so book ahead rather than at the door. The standard ticket covers the seven floors and a pint, or a soft drink, in the Gravity Bar; the more expensive variants add guided tastings. Read whether an offer is the Storehouse itself or a pub tour that merely mentions Guinness.
Good to know
It is a long day. The cliffs are about 260 km from Dublin, roughly three hours by road each way, and typical coach tours run 12 to 13 hours with around an hour and a half at the cliffs, usually with a stop in Galway. It works if you want the Atlantic coast in a single day and accept the driving. If you dislike long coach days, Wicklow and Glendalough or Howth are much shorter.
It is safer to. Entry is by timed slot, popular slots sell out, and tickets at the door are not guaranteed. The standard ticket covers the seven floors and a pint, or a soft drink, in the Gravity Bar.
Yes, but it is a long one: about 265 km, at least three hours each way, so a typical trip runs around 12 hours and usually adds Belfast or Dunluce Castle. The Causeway is in Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK: carry your passport or ID, check the entry rules for your nationality, and expect pounds sterling rather than euros.
The centre is compact: Trinity College, Dublin Castle, St Patrick’s Cathedral and Temple Bar are within walking distance of each other. The Guinness Storehouse lies further west, and sights such as Kilmainham or Phoenix Park are further out again; a hop-on hop-off bus is useful mainly for those.
Yes. Entry to the Book of Kells at Trinity College is timed, and summer slots can sell out days in advance. Combined offers with Dublin Castle or a guided walk are listed on this site.
The Aircoach takes about 30 to 40 minutes and Dublin Bus line 16 about 40, more in rush hour. Airport transfers are not listed on this site.
